I have the great idea of getting up early to go back to Box Hill and shoot the dawn... It's not as frosty as yesterday, so not as misty as I want. A nosey amateur photographer told me each morning you get a cloud level below the hill. As I looked down, tired and freezing, what do I see? Nothing.

Beautiful day, but FREEZING. I am determined to shoot the sunset, so off to Box Hill. Aaaagh - it's even colder.

After a week of great end of day cloud it's crystal clear. Full of amateur photographers who insist on giving me tips... The sun goes down. A bit red, not what I want - typical.

At 4.15 yesterday the sky looked beautiful - shot a bit from my house.

Here are some pictures of Battersea Power Station that I took the other day.

It is quite a nice autumn day so decide to join the tourist hordes and head off to the south bank. Take a load more photos...

Get a good view of Tower Bridge. St Pauls is blocked by a newer building and the Monument is full of tourists. You can see Crystal Palace in the distance.

Find a Starbucks in Paternoster Square. It has a crap statue of some bloke and his dogs. You get an ok view of the side of St Pauls. The best thing is the public toilets, clean and they don't smell - got to be the best place to have a shit in the whole of London. I highly recommend it...

Shoot a dragon statue outside the law courts, and stop outside the Mall.

Nelson's column is in the most beautiful light - shoot in colour and black and white.

Finish off at Horse Guards Parade - great skies, and a statue of the British war dead.
